A Sneak Peek that’s Sweeter than Bliss

On a recent chocolate expedition, the professors had the honor of being in the presence of the one and only Ilene Shane, chocolatier and co-founder of Sweet Bliss.  Shane- former private chef for Ralph Lauren (yup- believe it) can usually be found in her ultra-cool Flatiron kitchen loft, crafting some of the NYC’s most heart-warming, artisan chocolate. The ingredients used, though all-natural, are based around the fun stuff that you scarfed down as a kid (that is of course based on the premise that you weren’t deprived as a child).

For starters, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Mini Moo truffles (our mouths start watering just at the thought of smelling these little morsels) are packed with a special hearty crunch. A smooth peanut butter, balanced with a spread of jelly encased in a snappy chocolate couverture is the formula for being whisked away to a confectioner’s dreamland.
